- Provide the local communities with market relevant skills to enable them to find employment and/or sources of livelihoods. Skills include: tailoring, embroidery, dress designing and candle making. Maintenance of mobile phones and basic household appliances; basic and advanced computing; electricity, plumbing, masonry and carpentry.
- Provide women with practical skills to enable them to secure an independent source of income and/or start small scale businesses at a household level.
- Facilitate starting up of community-based projects and/or small local enterprises.
